CONCORD, N.H. — Today, the New York Post published an article entitled, “Beijing-linked businessman accused of undermining US gave thousands to Senate Dem contenders, records reveal,” identifying Chris Pappas as one of the recipients of campaign contributions from Pin Ni.
In response, New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Scott Maltzie and New Hampshire Republican National Committeeman William O’Brien released the following statements:
“This raises serious questions that Chris Pappas needs to answer. The New York Post reports that Pin Ni has been identified in documents as a member of the Chinese Communist Party and has contributed thousands of dollars to Pappas’ campaign. Granite Staters deserve to know why Pappas accepted these contributions and whether he will return the money,” said NHGOP Chairman Scott Maltzie.
“This has crossed a line where no American patriot should go. For that reason, he should resign immediately from Congress and suspend his campaign,” said National Committeeman William O’Brien.

A manufacturing magnate suspected of helping the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) wage economic war on the US has donated thousands of dollars to Democratic Senate candidates, campaign finance records reveal.
Pin Ni, the president of Illinois-based Wanxiang America Corporation, gave $7,000 to the campaigns of Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH), Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-Colo.) and former North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper.
While federal law limits individual donations to $3,500 per campaign, Pin gave to each of the four Democrats’ primary and general election runs for a total of $28,000 in contributions.
