CONCORD, N.H. — New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Scott Maltzie released the following statement following John E. Sununu’s Republican primary victory for U.S. Senate:

“I would like to congratulate John E. Sununu on his primary victory for the U.S. Senate. John is exactly the candidate we need to take on Chris Pappas and fight for Granite Staters in the United States Senate,” said NHGOP Chairman Scott Maltzie.

“Chris Pappas is a do-nothing politician looking for a six-year promotion after spending the last seven years in Congress with little to show for it. Granite Staters deserve a Senator who will put New Hampshire first, deliver results, and bring the New Hampshire Advantage to Washington. John E. Sununu has the experience and determination to get the job done, and I look forward to working with him to defeat Chris Pappas and send him packing in November.”
