Concord, NH — Today, the New Hampshire Republican Party called on the Democrat delegation to donate their taxpayer-funded salaries to the New Hampshire Food Bank as they continue to keep the government closed.
“The shutdown belongs to the Democrats and Granite State families are suffering because of their political games,” said NHGOP Chairman Jim MacEachern. “The absolute least that they can do is give up their paychecks and help feed the vulnerable families they’ve abandoned.”
The Executive Council voted unanimously to move forward with Governor Ayotte’s contingency plan, partnering the state with the New Hampshire Food Bank’s mobile pantry program, ensuring those impacted will have access to food while Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan keep the government closed.
