Concord, NH — The New Hampshire Republican Party celebrated major victories across the Granite State as voters chose conservative leadership focused on keeping taxes low and our state the safest in the nation.
Mayor Jay Ruais was re-elected in a blowout victory, reaffirming Manchester’s confidence in his leadership after he stood with Governor Ayotte against cuts to Manchester schools, helped fix the broken bail system, and has worked to make the Queen City more affordable.
In Laconia, Republican Mayor-elect Mike Bordes flipped the city red on a message of safety and lower taxes.
Mayor Robert Cone was once again voted in by the city of Berlin after leading on public safety and affordability.
Republicans also carried the Coös County special election in Berlin with Representative-elect Marc Tremblay holding a key seat in the state legislature and pushing back on the Democrats’ soft-on-crime candidate.
“These results send a clear message,” said NHGOP Chairman Jim MacEachern. “Granite Staters vote Republican for lower taxes and safe communities. Across New Hampshire, voters are standing with Republicans who deliver results, lower taxes, and fight to keep our state the safest state in the nation.”
