CONCORD, N.H. — New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Scott Maltzie released the following statement after last night’s NH-01 Democrat Debate:

“This debate exposed the true agenda of the Democratic Party in New Hampshire,” said NHGOP Chairman Scott Maltzie. “Each candidate was more radical than the next, and their ideas about what Granite Staters want in their next representative in Congress couldn’t be more out of touch.”

“Maura Sullivan and Stefany Shaheen both support government-run healthcare policies that would fundamentally change how Americans receive and pay for healthcare. They also support expanding the Supreme Court and dismantling ICE, policies that would have serious consequences for our country and the people of New Hampshire.”

“Granite Staters got a true look at what these candidates want to do if they get to Congress, and their agenda wouldn’t make people’s lives better. Last night proved why New Hampshire needs to send a Republican to Congress this November and reject the Democrats’ radical agenda.”

In case you missed it, here are the highlights:

Maura Sullivan:

  • Would “absolutely” expand the Supreme Court
  • Pledged her support to make D.C and Puerto Rico states
  • Wants to impeach Trump
  • Called to abolish ICE
  • Wants government-run healthcare by cutting our defense budget
  • Said the Biden administration wasn’t “aggressive enough” on their climate agenda

Stefany Shaheen:

Christian Urrutia:

  • Is “proud” to be endorsed by a leftist group founded by Bernie Sanders
  • Calls to abolish immigration enforcement

Carleigh Beriont:

  • When asked about funding Medicare for All, her response was “with money
  • Calls to abolish ICE

Sarah Chadzynski:

  • Believes illegal immigrants are not illegal but “undocumented
