Concord, NH — This week, the New Hampshire Republican Party celebrated the swearing-in of two Republican mayors following their victories. In Laconia, voters flipped the mayor’s office to Republican leadership by electing Mike Bordes. In Manchester, Jay Ruais was sworn in after a blowout victory, reaffirming Republican leadership in the state’s largest city and economic engine.
“Across New Hampshire, Granite Staters are choosing Republican leadership because it delivers results,” said NHGOP Executive Director Jimmy Thompson. “Voters want leaders focused on keeping our state safe, prosperous, and free. These victories show that Republican leadership is resonating in communities of every size across the Granite State.”
“We were proud to invest in these races,” Thompson added. “The New Hampshire Republican Party made a strategic commitment to supporting strong local candidates, and these victories reflect the strength of our party and the momentum behind Republican leadership at every level.”
