Concord, NH — Today, the New Hampshire Republican Party thanked the Trump administration, Dr. Mehmet Oz at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at the Department of Health and Human Services for awarding New Hampshire the largest rural health care grant in New England, delivering $204 million over the next 12 months, more than $42 million more than Massachusetts.
“This is a huge win for New Hampshire and a clear example of what strong leadership delivers,” said NHGOP Chairman Jim MacEachern. “Governor Ayotte made rural health care a priority, and the Trump administration delivered. New Hampshire received more funding than any other New England state because our leadership is focused on delivering for our most vulnerable.”
New Hampshire not only received the most funding in the region, but secured more than the state initially requested, a testament to Governor Ayotte’s leadership and her administration’s effective partnership with federal officials to strengthen access to care for Granite Staters. The $204 million award will support rural hospitals, expand access to care in underserved communities, and help stabilize critical health care infrastructure across the Granite State
“We’re grateful to President Trump, Dr. Oz, Secretary Kennedy, and the entire administration for delivering the largest rural health care investment in New England to New Hampshire.”
