Concord, NH — Today, the New Hampshire Republican Party released the following statement after Stefany Shaheen was caught lying about her labor endorsements.

“No one will be surprised when lyin’ Stefany gets coal in her stocking this year, “ said NHGOP Chairman Jim MacEachern. “Lying about endorsements to get ahead of no-named candidates is about as desperate as it gets.”

Earlier this week, Stefany announced the “first labor endorsement in this race”. The problem for Stefany is Representative Heath Howard was endorsed by a union five months ago.

Howard called out Stefany saying, “Actually, I was the first union endorsed candidate in this race. I was endorsed by the IBEW 104 back in July. Unlike you, I have an ACTUAL RECORD of supporting unions in the N.H. House, not family ties. I’d invite you to come join me on the picket lines, as I’m out talking to strikers every week. Haven’t seen you out with us in a while.”
