Concord, NH — The New Hampshire Republican Party today called out Democrat congressional candidate Stefany Shaheen for her silence during the 40-day Schumer Shutdown, a silence that left Granite State families without a voice while her mother voted to keep the government closed.

“While New Hampshire families struggled to put food on the table, Stefany Shaheen stayed silent,” said NHGOP Chairman Jim MacEachern. “Her mother helped create the mess, and instead of standing up for what’s right, Stefany put politics first and turned her back on the Granite State.”

MacEachern added: “Stefany will do anything to get ahead, even if it means abandoning her own mother.  If she’ll throw her mother under the bus, she’ll do the same to Granite Staters.”
