CONCORD, N.H. — Today, Chris Pappas received the endorsement of Kamala Harris, the same Kamala Harris who lost the 2024 presidential election, whose approval ratings as vice president never broke fifty percent, and whose tenure saw record numbers of illegal border crossings under the Biden-Harris administration. If this is the company Chris Pappas wants to keep, Granite Staters should be concerned.

Harris was tasked by the Biden administration with addressing the root causes of migration from Central America. Under that same administration, illegal crossings at the southern border hit record highs. That is the record Pappas is now embracing.

“Chris Pappas is so desperate for national attention that he is turning to one of the most unpopular figures in Democratic politics,” said NHGOP Chairman Scott Maltzie. “This is not a badge of honor, it is a sign of a campaign that knows it is in trouble.”

New Hampshire deserves leaders who will be honest with them, not ones who lean on failed national figures to prop up a struggling campaign.
