Concord, NH — The New Hampshire Republican Party today called out Congressman Chris Pappas for attacking ICE and siding with the radical left’s open-border agenda.
On WMUR’s Close Up, Pappas called ICE “unacceptable,” refused to say whether he would abolish the agency, and proposed cutting its funding.
“Calling ICE ‘unacceptable’ means Chris Pappas thinks enforcing the law is unacceptable,” said NHGOP Chairman Paul Callaghan. “As a former law enforcement officer, I can tell you that rhetoric like this endangers officers and emboldens criminals.”
“The choice couldn’t be clearer,” Callaghan added. “Republicans back law enforcement. Chris Pappas backs the radical agenda that wants to defund them.”
