Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Republican Party released the following statement announcing recent staff changes:
“After several years of dedicatedly serving the New Hampshire Republican Party, I extend my sincerest thanks to Joseph Sweeney for his tireless work to expand Republican leadership here in the Granite State,” Said NHGOP Chairman Stephan Stepanek. Joseph Sweeney has announced his departure from the party in January to lead NH Senate President Chuck Morse’s U.S Senate Campaign. “Joe has not only proven himself as an incredible asset during his three-year tenure with me as NHGOP Chairman but in years prior under different leadership. He will be sorely missed by the NHGOP and by me personally, but as he moves on to his new role, I know he will continue to serve Granite Staters well.
“It is with great excitement that we can officially announce Elliot Gault will be returning to the New Hampshire Republican Party as Executive Director beginning next week! Elliot previously served as NHGOP Executive Director from May 2019-January 2021 where he helped lead a team that oversaw the only Democrat to Republican State House flip in the country. His extensive experience in NH politics serving on numerous campaigns and working for Governor Sununu will allow for an incredibly smooth transition as NHGOP works to continue its success this cycle.
“Additionally Maddie Cammarano will continue to serve as our Financial Director, having taken over the role from DJ Burke who left the State Party earlier this year. Maddie came to the NHGOP after serving in various roles with the Massachusetts Republican Party, and has already proven herself as an invaluable member of our team!
“Maya Harvey will also be continuing in her role as Press Secretary, amplifying State Party communication objectives built over 2021.
“This is a talented group that’s done phenomenal work up to this point, and working in collaboration with Republican Activists, this team will undoubtedly lead us to greater majorities and continued Republican success.”
