Statement from NH GOP Chair Jeanie Forrester on New Hampshire’s Democratic Federal Delegation failure to prevent Obamacare Exchange Increases
CONCORD – NH GOP Chair Jeanie Forrester released the following statement calling on our Federal Delegation to start working for New Hampshire families in finding a solution to the massive increases in the Obamacare Exchange for 2018:

“While New Hampshire families face massive rate increases in the 2018 Obamacare Exchange, Senators Shaheen and Hassan, along with Congresswomen Kuster and Shea-Porter, are not providing the leadership that New Hampshire needs in this critical time. The lack of leadership coming from New Hampshire’s delegation in Washington is extending the burden of the failing Obamacare law in New Hampshire.”
“Voters elect our representatives to go to D.C. to work on solutions to benefit the state of New Hampshire, and unfortunately our Federal Delegation has failed to protect New Hampshire families from a 44% Obamacare premium increase. The people of New Hampshire need to hold our Federal Delegation accountable for the fall out of Obamacare and their failure to enact solutions while the marketplace collapses. New Hampshire families deserve action, not obstruction, from our Federal Delegation”
“Jeanne Shaheen and Carol Shea-Porter voted for Obamacare during the 111th Congress, while Annie Kuster and Maggie Hassan have failed to propose meaningful reforms to the system. New Hampshire needs representation that ignores the harsh partisan rhetoric of D.C. and embraces solutions to build a robust health insurance market without massive premium increases.”
