NHGOP STATEMENT ON THE CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 1 DEBATE ON WMUR

CONCORD – New Hampshire Republican State Committee (NHGOP) Chairman Jennifer Horn released the following statement on the Congressional District 1 debate on WMUR:

“Time and time again, Carol Shea Porter has proven that she would blindly follow Nancy Pelosi and Washington Democrats and be a rubberstamp for their big government agenda. The First Congressional District deserves better than a Member of Congress who will support wasteful spending, double-down on Obamacare, and support policies that will be a wet blanket on our economy.

“Voters must also not be fooled by Shawn O’Connor and his extreme left-wing agenda. He is a phony ‘independent’ who would caucus with Democrats if sent to Washington.

“We need Frank Guinta in Congress to continue his good work for the people of New Hampshire. He has proved that he is dedicated to working in a bipartisan fashion to combat the heroin crisis, stop the dangerous Obama foreign policy, and cut wasteful government spending. Congressman Guinta was the clear winner in tonight’s debate and on Tuesday, voters should send him back to Congress to continue to fight for Granite Staters.”
