Statement from NH GOP Chair Jeanie Forrester on dismissed ACLU Lawsuit

Concord, NH – NH GOP Chair Jeanie Forrester released the following statement regarding the ACLU lawsuit dismissal:

“The dismissal of the ACLU lawsuit represents the conclusion of an ill-advised move led by the New Hampshire ACLU and the New Hampshire Democratic Party that was nothing more than a waste of taxpayer dollars. Republican Governor Chris Sununu and Democratic Secretary of State Bill Gardner have been fully vindicated. All parties now acknowledge that the voter checklists are public information and must be turned over under New Hampshire’s Right-to-Know law. This conclusion should have come from the beginning if they had read our laws more carefully.”

“Ensuring our elections are conducted with the utmost integrity is something that Republicans and Democrats should agree on. This whole episode has been an unfortunate step in a series of moves to obstruct progress. Republicans and Democrats need to work together to increase integrity in our elections.”
